Directeur de l\u2019Harmonie municipale de Bondy (Seine), il fut \u00e9lu, le 12 mai 1935, conseiller municipal socialiste SFIO sur une liste de coalition \u00e0 direction communiste (voir Varagnat Henri*).  \u00c0 la Lib\u00e9ration, il fit partie, au nom de la SFIO, du conseil municipal provisoire selon l\u2019arr\u00eat\u00e9 du 4 novembre 1944.  Mari\u00e9 en 1922 \u00e0 La Rochefoucauld (Charente) avec une institutrice, il mourut le 30 septembre 1977 \u00e0 Bondy. Il \u00e9tait titulaire de la Croix de guerre 1914-1918."}
